Huge credit for back to back clean sheets against Arsenal and Chelsea but god if only we could score goals

But let's not forget they had only lost 1 in 49 think it was up to November, and would have beat Man Utd, but for a dodgy back pass + foul for pen and whoever it was trying to backheel the 2nd goal from infront of the line. Man City took till around 20mins from the end to even have a shot on target v us here last season, which at that point was the longest they took in over 2years. Dont be surprised if we can get another point

Surprised by the negative reaction today.
Let’s set out some facts:

- Relegation Battle
Any points against the top four are a result

- Dyche Commitment
Even if we have the money (which we don’t), we should not spend more based on a team that is likely to be replaced. Far better to get safe and then plan for the future

- Lack of goals
Yeah this is an issue and perhaps we should be scoring more, but with the issues noted above we can only bring temp fixes in during Jan. All we can do now is get behind the team and pray for some goals

- Contracts
Huge amount of our staff and players are out of contract.. We simply cannot renew as essentially we are about to enter into the most revolutionary period in 100 years. Change is not just needed, it is inevitable. Hopefully these players / staff will begin to play better as they realise they are in the shop window

I think 0-0 is a great result against a title-chasing Chelsea.

I also like the idea of going through an entire season, home and away notching goalless draws. Complete purity, a total lack of goal action. Impotent but unbeatable, like a eunuch, Everton the unsullied.
