Your Everton MOTM vs Chelsea

Again good to get a point but it's horrendous watching us currently.

Take out the Wolves game which was far more down to Wolves being awful defensively we've scored 0 goals in the other 6 games since October 26.

We had 5 minutes today around 80th minute were we didn't look like scoring but we were having a go, getting after them and the crowd was up for it, stuff like that shouldn't be a rarity it should be the bare minimum.

Just back from the game and enjoyed it. Thought tactically we were very good, especially in wide areas where we doubled up and also mostly kept Palmer very quiet. We arguably won the midfield against a team who have two £100m plus footballers.

The players emptied the tank today and worked exceptionally hard, stayed to the plan and could have easily won it in the second half.

Btw the one thing that I can’t accept from Everton in the future is this win at all costs even if it means feigning injury, calling for every decision even when it’s blatant, rolling around like they’ve been shot. That’s embarrassing and awful to watch.

Pickford or Young MOTM. Ndiaye was also an absolute joy at times.

Very good point today, containment job as expected but it never had the feel of clinging on either.

Also really thought that chance was going in near the end, Ndiaye looked certain to score but it was a decent block on the replay.

Branthwaite just makes this backline so have to keep him fit at all costs. No surprise Tarks looks more steady alongside him after his poor opening few months.

Thought when Young got his booking and suspension that Dyche would start Patterson at Man. City just to slag him off after the game but Seamus coming on instead shows he's going to be the one playing instead.

One other thing, only two minutes injury time at the end?! Probably the last time that happened was the late 90s. There were still plenty of subs and stoppages in the second half.
