This sort of standard cliche manager sub really winds me up.

Why just give them 10 minutes to see how it's going to go at the start of the half. It hasn't worked for 45 minutes so just do it at half time.

What gets me is that these days you can literally change half your outfield players, but you can only stop the game for subs three times, and yet managers burn one of the three to make an individual sub shortly after the half (when halftime subs don't count against the three).
