Swansea played exactly how they played against Chelski the other night. Only difference was for once our defence never gave anything away. They came with a game plan, particularly to stop Baines and Pienaar on the left. It worked, not many teams can do that, hence the reason that we have scored in all but two games this season.
Swansea came to park the bus and the only way to change that is to get an early goal like we did against them at the Liberty. What we really need is to get Mirallas and Gibson fit which would give us a few more options and more importantly pace up front and someone that can unlock teams with a killer pass.

fancy showing me the evidence that Jelavic isnt the Fernando Torres of everton?
Every striker can pass and hold up a ball their job is too score and he isnt scoring, I could neg rep you for having a different opinion but im a bigger man than that.

Firstly, I've got 50 million pounds that say otherwise. Secondly, Jelavic has scored 1 in 3 this year, which is respectable at the very least. We saw Jelavic on top form last season, but that's not something you can expect every week and every season. To round things off, the apostrophe key is located just to the right of the colon xx.

We played well but the teams main players who have played well like Osman Baines{injured} SP looked tired PN is not a central midfielder he should have been subbed by Hitz not Naismith who looked as if he did not know where he was playing Sansea got a point by parking the bus but Jellshould have scored early on a bad miss he was scoring them last season! hit the target a toepoke would have scored that chance!

WE ARE **** LADS DAT MOYES IS ONE BAD **** HOUSE AND JELAVIC IS DER CRAPEST STRIKER IN DER WORLD

IF BARKLEY HAD PLAYED WE WOODA WON DAT 6-0

WATEVA LAD, DAT BARKLEY ISN EVEN DOING IT FOR LEEDS YOU BAD WHOPPER.

IMWT NSNO LUVUBILLY

We've been phenomenal for a whole year and we've lost the same amount of games as Manchester United this season and only one more than City.

How that is "Jeckyll & Hyde" is beyond me. We're a top side; today proved it - they came for the draw right from the off, which is what small sides do against really good teams.

People are kneejerking - simple as.

And we've always struggled against sided who set up to defend and counter under Moyes.

A combination of players not being as good as we'd like, not being good enough tactically and bad luck means its always going to happen in some games.

Given other results today its not the worst result in the world.

We played OK, but just lacked quality to score. They defended well and got their tactics spot on, it has to be said.

Disappointed not to get the 3 points, sure, but that's football. We'll have to work on a few things and do better next game.

Main problem for me is balance. We didn't score because we made it too easy for them to defend as they knew how we would come at them. I know coleman had a good game but we played with no right mid. I think vic was supposed to be there but seemed to be up front for the most of it. Meaning swansea only really had to defend crosses from one side of the pitch for the most part. Not much came from the centre either. They did a good job of defending to be fair. Badly need mirallas back to add something down that side

And another "Eureka"

Plenty of noise right now. Sounds like a load of pennies dropping.

Oh aye yeah, Coleman was proper boss today, if he keeps improving his game then he will be as important as Baines is now in the years to come.

Naismith's a proper carthorse though, i don't think he is suited to the premiership whatsoever and i'd have definately brought Oviedo baby on instead.

Agreed, Coleman looked like a quality player today, not just a journeyman. He is going to make the Everton RB position his own for the next 5 years.

sorry but 7 in 22 isnt good enough for a team looking at top 4.
