Well he’s had 3 days, and already it was better. At least there was a reaction and a change of game plan. I don’t see what Mangala brings to the team, good to see Myko up the field. Branthwaite had a mare, Villa are a good team. We should have had a pen. I’m more optimistic than when Dyche was in charge

Only thing changed with a new manager was DCL managed to go from utter crap to the worst player in England

Bit he was re-establishing his credentials for the England squad

Positives:

• Did enough to win that.
• We had a go even after going behind. Heads didn't go down.
• Myklolenko actually looked much better.

Negatives:

• Finishing - whether it's confidence or not we need to find a way to get goals.
• We are still giving the ball away far too easily and making daft mistakes.
• Our attacking options are limited.

We need some freshness this window and we need a better option than Doucoure as our number 10 option.

I suspect Moyes will have learned a lot from that and will be keen to get more training time.

We badly badly need a right winger, a striker and a number 10.

Maybe Ndiaye could do the number 10, but I'd nearly take Barry Bannon instead of Doucoure as a link man.... What a pity he is on the ball, our highest earner.

I've never seen a team needing a number 10 or some creativity more. Just something. We're so one dimensional I'm amazed several of the players don't fall through the gaps between the floorboards in the dressing room.

Boils my blood....we have 2 x no.10's but played as wingers. We need wingers and a forward then we can see how illiman or Lindstrom do as a 10

How long it will take Moyes to realise this?

Well according to a couple of ITKs. Moyes has already told DCL that he is going to be his no 9 moving forward. Big mistake in my opinion. Not only is he rubbish, but you shouldn't be giving promises to a player that won't be here at the end of the season.
