We didn't score but it's very difficult to score when the ref allows the opposition to wrestle our players to the ground when in goalscoring positions.

Still, at least those of us who were at the Wolves game can claim the historic achievement of seeing the last ever Everton league goal scored at Goodison- very aptly an own goal.

we gave them 4 easy chances . We are lucky they converted just one . Brantwaithe was abmysable tonight. He did believe his own hype but needs to get much better on the ball to be a real decent player
Agreed. We need to sign Daffy Duck in his place.

Given the stuff the ref was giving all night, how a two handed push on Lindstrom wasn't a foul I've no idea. Too many individual errors, carrying too many players garbo in possetion, desperately need legs in midfield a double pivot of Gueye and Mangala is glacial. DCL can't play his finishing has been proven for 2 years now as unnacceptable at Prem level we can't carry that either.

Hard to pick a MoM, it was poor. Thought Lindstrom played well. Ndiaye obviously a class above but without more quality around him I doubt we will ever see his best.

I thought we set up well and our shape at least looked like footy but we will be hanging on with this squad. Need players through thr door quick.

Well Moyes better learn quickly - if you play Harrison, DCL and Doucoure, we're going to lose.

Unfortunately, defensive managers love players like that - those entirely bereft of attacking quality but they work hard - so I won’t hold my breath.

I appreciate miracles cannot happen and we're in a state, but it was classic Moyes, really. Wrong subs and too late.
Really? Disagree on both

Only seen the second half but we seemed a bit more positive with the ball.

Villa only had 1 real chance and they scored.

Dom had our chance and p1ss poor scoup over the bar.

I like the 3 at the back - gives us some width

As a side to watch we are so poor, for most of the game Villa looked comfortable on the ball and had better chances to score without getting out of first gear.

We try and hump it to the front so quickly with little control of the ball and invariably it lose possesion.
