I think Moyes confirmed Dwight would be out.
He did. Knee problem.

No new players, same injuries, in fact one more (broja) and 2 key home games coming up. Still the same deficiencies in the squad, yet nothing done to address it. Not sure how can we be competitive against villa with the current squad especially considering the injuries we have. Looks to me that the best we can hope is a draw but the most likely result is another loss.i know moyes has just signed, but what have we done with the first 13 days of the window?
Harrison coming on twice? This was a home defeat under Dyche for sure but if Goodison is rocking the story might be different. No Barklay to haunt us and no McGinn for them- who seems to always score against us.
Would not expect too much change in the line up:
Pickford
Young - Tarkowski - Branthwaite - Mykolenko
Doucoure - Gana - Mangala
Lindstrom - DCL - N'Diaye
Coleman and Harrison on around 60 mins and Harrison and Beto on a little later.
Villa supporters must be very disappointed with them, so far this season.
They qualified for the CL last season but are 8th half way through this season. To be fair they’re only one win behind 5th and they also sit 5th in the new CL table so think they’ve done alright myself to balance it.
Dyche would never think of doing that. Moyes is a genius.Harrison coming on twice?

Villa supporters would have been hoping for more in the PL.Yes... and as I said, 3pts off 5th whilst also being 5th in the CL. That's a good go at balancing two competitions in my eyes.
Yes, there is that, but I wouldn't put him on once, let alone twice.Dyche would never think of doing that. Moyes is a genius.
