so end of the first half, its not bad, Everotn had have their spell of possesion and so have chelsea.
However, firstly i feel valente is having a bit of a downer this match, his marking is good, but some of his passes have been poor, havingn said that his attacking passes have been better. I think the problem everton have at the moment is the delivery in the box, and when it is delivered who is in the box. Our midfield is playing well, but they are all playing very deep, osman can be annonymous, cahill is deep, fernandes is deep..hte only player really trying is arteta i think, however his delivery into the box from corners is far from desirable

well i thought we were the stronger team in the first half.
lescott is awesome.....again.he is marking anelka out of the game and is a handfull in the chelsea box when he gets forward.
arteta and fernandes have dipped a bit towards the end of the half but started very lively and classy.
cahill looked a bit anonymous at times , but he does look like he is ready to pounce in the second half.he was unlucky to miss the attempt on goal from lescotts headed setup.
carsleys yellow card worries me , becouse the type of role he plays means he has to get a foot in quite a lot.
neville is impressing me.hes at right back , doing well , tackling well , but is getting a lot of attacking play and crosses in.
howard looks very switched on too.as does jags.

chelsea arent looking brilliant but ok.joe cole is playing very well imo.
we need to score and as i said above i see cahill popping up with the goods.
maybe carsley off later and a youngster bagging us another in the last 5.
