That first half has been a mirror of the opening few games of last season
With the same negative team selection as well. Did the same last season when he started with Keane and left Branthwaite on the bench. Has to be bolder. Really can’t face another dour relegation struggle.
 

Every single season I can remember we always take an eternity to blood in new signings to the point of always playing catchup for the rest of the season taking months to build momentum. This "faith in the players already there" needs to be weeded out pronto. Keep faith in the same players we know inside out who will never improve and have had us in relegation scraps every year? Insanity.
I agree. But our club is in such a state that it's asking too much to have eight new starters - because that's what's actually needed.

Dyche's problem is he is too stubborn to even start the four he could have.
