And Tarkowski did leave Soucek all the time of the world to turn and put it in the corner. Thats Tarkowski. Good at last ditch defending but a lot of times to far away from players.

Deffo not a pen. Beto kicked the ground. Can’t believe the ref gave it from his vantage point.

They certainly werent close enough to soucek agreed. But as my son pointed out, the whole move came about after the blatant shove in the back on our player that the referee did not give.

Awful, awful, awful,awful referee. I mean dear god he was utterly horrendous he gave them every foul and every throw in and even gave them corners when it was a clear goal kick. We battled and the resilience is very pleasing to see and it was a lovely cross from Gueye reminded me of the one Young did for Beto to score another last gasp equaliser against Fulham.

He gave us a penalty for Beto kicking the floor until VAR overruled it.

Not a great performance but lets be honest do we expect a great performance with our quality of players? They have dug in and showed resilience during Moyes time hear but we all know we are still miles off and fingers crossed we can take 2 steps forward come the summer. We are on a great resilient run of 9 games undefeated but it doesn't mean we are a great team all of a sudden, we are still papering over the cracks but has put us in good stead for a rebuild
