An observation that I thought was worth mentioning is that when we scored it was just before they announced how many minutes of extra time there would be. They announced 4 minutes everyone booed of course and then West Ham made 2 subs. There was also a VAR check because the West Ham players were surrounding the ref arguing for a possible offside when there clearly wasn’t. By the time West Ham kicked off after we scored it had been approximately 1 minute and 30 seconds after the 90 minutes. So why didn’t the ref add that time on? I believe he blew up just before the 4 minutes 30 seconds mark. There should have been at least 1 whole extra minute played.

I said the same to my son. 1min 33sec until kick off resumed and then 2 subs. Should have been at least another minute.

Real poor game.

West ham were a bucket of poo with a hole in it. What a slow terrible team. Bowen there only real outlet.

We ground out a result. A sign of how far Moyes has brought us. Early season Everton would have conceded more and given up. Not under Moyes.
I thought they were better then us second half without creating a huge amount, but got the goal and were close to the win, for me we reverted into Dyche mode for a lot of the second half with slow laboured football but TBF to Moyes the subs made a positive difference and we ground out a point - was happy to see chermiti and broja come on and push us forward

Sad we haven’t kicked on a bit from our amazing set of results initially under Moyes. I feel this more down to the lack of a striker than anything else… Loving the last minute goals tho, it really shows a “never say die” attitude lacking under previous managers.

Looking fwd to the 2025 rebuild

Probs going to finish 16th or 15th

I think West Ham were higher up the table than Everton then and were the better team yesterday and until the manager brought the subs on, late again, we didn’t look like scoring.

moyes got the starting xi wrong. it was great to see charly start but doucoure should’ve been benched if so. one, he was useless, two, he and alcaraz got in each others way

whenever alcaraz did pick up the ball he had no runners to pass to. harrison and lindstrom arent great, but they can do a job on the left and right flanks respectively, and it’s worked for the most part

really disappointed in the lack of atmosphere in the ground following some brilliant recent games at goodison. there are a handful of games left at goodison, this was possibly the penultimate Saturday 3pm too if Ipswich gets moved, and the supporters and players should have been way more up for it

gutted the alcaraz shot didnt creep in, would’ve been a great final memory at goodison
