Where does the time go? Wonder what these menacing young street toughs are up to these days.
Hope all works out well mate and you have a great time of it. Not a bad time at all to get to your first Everton game at GoodisonI am making the trip over from the U.S. for my first ever game. For all I know this may be my only time seeing the blues in person.
I could not secure tickets through the Everton website, so I’m keeping my fingers extra crossed that the tickets I bought online are legitimate.
Assuming everything goes to plan, we will hit up the Winslow for a pre-match pint or two and then head to the stadium early to soak it all in.
If anyone has any other matchday advice or recommendations for our stay in Liverpool, feel free to comment or send me a message. UTFT
Loads of times its lovely, minced beef pie with mash, yum, yum. The ‘liquor’ is basically parsley sauce, so not a strong taste to be objectionable.
It depends how long you are over for. Do the stadium tour if you can, and obviously get a cab down to BMD to see the new home. Also, if you can, do the Mersey ferry River Explorer tour, it takes 50 minutes and you can take in some of the most iconic sights including a cracking view of the new ground from the waterI am making the trip over from the U.S. for my first ever game. The Vines too, right next to Lime Street station, its fabulous inside! The Winslow will be packed. So go in early.
Walk all around the ground, to take it all in.
Visit the "market" upstairs in St. Luke's church, in Goodison Rd.
If you use public transport, take the train to Kirkdale Station (15 min walk to Goodison).
In the city visit the Denbigh Castle pub (Everton fan owned) and the Philharmonic (for the décor).
Spoken like a former Cell Block H “top dog”…Bending over in the prison showers, hopefully.
Yes. It wasn't that great, if I'm being honest. Perhaps that was just the place where we went tho
Ahh, I wonder if the poor lamb on the right ever saved up enough for an offensive weapon? Look at the poor little soldier holding his ‘air’ baseball bat, bless himNearly 8 years ago....
