Just rewatched the whole game again, got to say the ref restored a little faith in referee’s in this country thought he was excellent, not once did he put up with the moaning from the rs.

Apparently not part of the bald cult of refs

Pickford - outstanding saves
Godfrey - best game for a long time
Tarkowski - rock solid in the box and set pieces
Branthwaite - see Tarkowski plus a goal
Mykolenko - great half a game keeping Salad fresh
Harrison - probs the best game for us, crossing vastly improved & huge workrate
Garner - Up against a tough midfield all day just class
Gana - another mega performance closing their midfield
McNeil - was everywhere and set piece delivery - wow!
Doucoure - brought the pressure and seemed to be too much for them
DCL Chased everything and that leap!

I went for Pickford in the end as his saves kept the game alive for us - remarkable mayure performance from him.
