Its because they're smelly tramps who sold themselves out in the name of money. They carry a guilt because of it and none more so than when their over paid players cant out do our players on the pitch.

They are three star bells who will never ever be the Everton.

They deserve our pity the tragic bastards.

You forgot the bit where they live in Manchester.

As for the referee, I thought he was awful along with the linesmen - for both teams! Barry should have gotten a booking for his foul on Distin in the first half, Milner should have been booked for his foul on Mirallas, Dzeko should have been sent off with a second yellow for diving...and not only that, goal wrongly disallowed, foul on Fellaini inside the box not given, Fellaini handball wrongly given outside the box. It was really just an awful performance.

Credit to the Goodison crowd I thought they were great, and just listening to SkySports then - they all seem to agree! Imo had the crowd not been so feisty the refereee wouldn't have **** out giving that penalty.

The only reason I can see for not giving a penalty and giving a freekick is that the referee thought the ball hit the arms of the Evertonplayer that threw himself in front of the ball first, ahead of Fellaini. That player were outside the penaltyarea and therefore only a freekick.

Another woeful performance from Lee Probert. I've never seen him have a good match. Don't know how Milner managed to avoid a sending off.

Very pleased with the victory, thought we not only out fought but also out played the reigning league champions.

Mucha doesn't automatically fill me with confidence but he played well and his distribution is far superior than Howard's. I will be disappointed if Howard walks straight back into the team, Mucha has done no wrong these past few games.

Mirallas wrongly disallowed goal was a cracking finish, exciting player to watch.

Pleased for Jelavic, it really amused me that a player wearing gloves celebrates by ripping his top off.

he aint the worst keeper you will ever see a good shot stopper but like most east euro GK they like to punch rather than catch but he had a good game today to be fair to him

What a fantastic match!

I know it doesn't change any of the existing problems but today may have been the loudest Goodison crowd I've been a part of in a very long time (for the positive). Mucha made save after save, Coleman assisted for the first goal and Victor was simply exceptional. Ran and ran until he had nothing left to give and then STILL ran a little bit more. All three had a genuine shout for man of the match. It was nervy, it was exciting, it was tension filled and it was why I am an Evertonian to begin with.

Very happy with the performance today.

A few observations:

1) Probert, the less said the better.

2) Coleman: Dare I say his best ever performance in an Everton shirt? Why yes, yes I will.

3) Anichebe: If there are any doubters left, they're idiots plain and simple and deserve to be ignored. Next time you hear some "supporter" get on his back, tell 'em to go to hell.

4) Gibson: Solid, solid, solid. Always good on the ball and positioning always in the right spot. A winner.

5) Mucha: My guess is that Howard might have to fight to get his spot back. I will hold my hand up and say that I was dead wrong about him. Of course getting a run of games will help but he was nothing short of spectacular today and I don't think I'm exaggerating.

6) Fellaini: Proved a lot to me and to the supporters today. Busted. His. Arse.

7) Heitinga: THAT'S the Johnny I know !!! Excellent match today and I believe every decision he made was a good one.

8) Naismith: Yeah, I don't think he's Premier League quality but I will give credit where credit is due. It was HIS tackle that got the ball to Fellaini, to Jelavic....GOAL !!! More of that please when you're on the pitch Steven.

9) Jelavic: I almost started crying when he scored. I'm not lying. You could tell the weight was finally off his shoulders with a BIG GOAL at a crucial time. Loved that every player when over to him to celebrate.

Not forgetting Distin, Baines, Pienaar, Mirallas & Osman as all played very very well.

I said before the match that the result didn't matter as much to me as the response by the players and the effort they put out on the pitch today.

Well, it's easy to say that I was thrilled.

Well done Moyes. Well done Everton.

Very excellent as ever Chico. Would receive a generous round of applause in those fancy salons down that London. Smash those Bells/melts (delete scousism as appropriate) 2-0 COYB.

View from the Palace End; Brilliant. everyone put in a shift and remembered that they had a Blue shirt on. If Seamus had been black I would have confused him with Zaha at times. Made up for all of you, brilliant.(y)

With Hull, Watford, Leicester, Leeds, Bolton and 'Boro all losing, the weekend will become pefect if we can overcome the anti christ at the seaside tomorrow to go second. COYP!

a great win no doubt and hopefully we can kick on from here and there is still a few pts out there worth fighting for the only shame is had we played with the same conviction in other games recently we MAY have been in the shake up for a C>L spot

credit given where credit is due

I read the first few pages of that bluemoon forum and most of them seemed alright. there were a few c*nts who seem to think that manchester is some kind of garden of eden though.
