never had a problem with this opposition, I'd take them over United any day of the week, it's always been like that, nothing to do with Lescott or cash, and speaking of the former, he did himself no favors during the summer with a move than seemed to go on forever, except put a bit more money in his account.

enough of that, and City visit in a high profile fixture that has people talking, they have a team of all-stars more or less, not sure of what starting XI Mancini will field, but this looks like being a successful event, team will have got over last weekends injustice and with a partizan crowd and players geared up, I can see further distance between us and the relegation scrappers.

I always remember about this time of year about 20 years ago, we played Manchester City at home and won 2-0.

It was live on TV, (no Sky then I don't think), and Sheedy scored one of the goals of the season with a scissor kick from distance, older fans will remember.
