Ok how about this for understanding. These are the players we have had out injured this season for a prolonged spell.

Yakubu
Vaughan
Arteta
Pienaar
Rodwell
Hibbert
Distin
Yobo
Jagielka

Still. Jagielka, Yobo, Rodwell, Vaughn and Arteta didn't play today and you were brilliant.

Was very impressed by Everton and in particular Fellaini.

Thanks for showing up round here. Really shows the signs of a decent bloke if you'll take it on the chin, and even just come on here.

If that makes sense, i'm a bit tired.

Anyway, cheers

Fair play to you SWP, Ghost forgot Neville off his list too. I think the main point being we've had bugger all defenders, combined with the loss of some of our most influencial midfielders either for all or part of the season so far. We're starting to whisper it quietly but we've actually assembled a very strong squad, not studded with superstars but real like for like strength in depth.

Forgot Anichebe as well.

Fellaini - what a steal at £15M! 11 Gods out there today though.

Arteta in for Donovan when he goes, Jags for Distin, and what a side.
Maybe the 24 year rule is not out of the question.

The atmosphere was special as well. We need to get behind the Moyes boys like this every game.

I think although, yes, we've had rotten luck with injuries, it's only Arteta and Jags who IMO would come straight into the side. Everyone else is there on merit, meaning what we're really missing is some depth. The side out there atm is near our strongest. And it's obvious because we are playing some good stuff atm, getting some of our (thankfully) usual mid-season momentum, and I am confident we will continue to climb the table in the coming weeks and months.

No excuses, no complaints. We were simply well beaten by a far better team on the day. I can not understand how you are so low down in the table.
Fellaini's performance was one of the finest I have ever seen, he was truly brilliant. Thought the penalty decision was a bit iffy but I have no complaints, you deservedly beat us.

We were awful, spineless and gutless. Especially Robinho, he is awful.

Well played anyway.

Injuries hurt but our form (I don't buy all the Lescott talk) was awful to start the season. We're just now hitting our stride and unfortunately, we have a habit of starting like crap and coming on strong towards the end of the season.

Can we make Europe? Even on this form, I'm going to say that just a bit beyond us. A good finish and good FA Cup run as well as a strong run in the Europa Cup could be on the cards though.

Thanks for the kind words and best of luck for the rest of the season.

I applaude all the fans who made the game today, you were awesome guys. Welll done.

Get behind the team, that is how it should be. (y)

*stands up and salutes you all*
