I like Everton, always have. Traditional English club. I'm not bitter or angry as we were simply out battled, outfought and outplayed by a team who wanted it more.

I don't understand Why Moyes was so annoyed. You got 24 million which is a good 10-12 million over the odds.

Also he made it clear he wanted to go and there is no point in trying to keep a player who has his heart set elsewhere.

I never said the injuries were not a situation, I said that the players who were on the pitch were professionals and were making far too many elementary mistakes to be acceptable.

But Lescott disrupted the whole camp in the build up to the season, culminating in what happened against Arsenal. There was no team spirit, and it's only really started to return over the past 2 months.

Well we turned down the offer, we told City we weren't interested in selling him, yet City had clearly spoken to Lescott and so kept pushing it and pushing it.

It's the manner in which a club who were very much like Everton conducted themselves like Billy Big Balls, and as our fans quite rightly stated today, you haven't won anything really to have that kind of muscle. So it comes down to buying the league, which is what your doing.

I'm really not upset about the whole deal to be honest. I think we brought in three very good players for one very good player. To me, that's just more great transfer business by Moyes.
