It just shows you how things have improved that I consider this to be an OK result. I honestly thought, if the likes of Pienaar and Saha got into the game more, especially the latter, we could have battered them. Still, a comfortable 3 points and I can't really complain.
Sunderland were poor, but we made them look poor by applying our (thankfully now it's back, usual) work rate. They couldn't handle that, and if they don't win against Stoke at home on Saturday, serious alarm bells will be ringing on Wearside.
