I am first and foremost hoping for Everton to come out strong and not be afraid of Chelsea.

We do have to watch out for the counterattack as Chelsea is so good at it.

Drogba doesn't scare me. He is very good but he always looks like superman vs Arsenal.

It's a style problem to be honest, in current style Arsenal and Chelsea are a bad match, I still think selling Adebayor to City was a bad idea for the Gunner, they needed someone who could break through the defence like Chelsea has Drogba.

we play a different style to Arsenal, and we tends to do ok against Chelsea, for example the most recent match we could have easily have gone down 3-1 TO chelsea, yet we manage to come back to level term in that match, you might say we were just lucky, but if we didn't attack them, where would the goal come from?

It was the Merseyside Derby we lost and it was a disapppointing performance, so, I am not surprise we feel it was the end of the world, if we lost to other strong team like Arsenal, Chelsea or Man Utd, it might not have felt as bad, hopfully the pain of losing the Merseyside Derby would make us stronger and come through the February with something to cheer about!

Neville alongside another defensive minded midfielder doesn't do it for me. Didn't work too well with Carsley, didn't work too well with Rodwell so I don't see how it would change with Heitinga. In the absence of Fellaini I'd prefer to see Ossie in there alongside Neville, Heitinga remaining at CB with Distin and Coleman coming in at RB.

It should hopfully be something like this:-

------------------------- Howard ---------------------------

------ Coleman --- Heitinga --- Distin --- Baines ----

------ Donovan --- Arteta --- Neville --- Bilyaletdinov ---

------------------------- Cahill ---------------------------

------------------------- Saha ---------------------------

Or if you insist not playing Arteta we could try this :

----------------------- Howard ---------------------------

--- Coleman --- Senderos --- Distin --- Baines ----

--- Donovan --- Neville --- Heitinga --- Bilyaletdinov ---

------------------------ Cahill ---------------------------

------------------------ Saha ---------------------------

We play four defensive player in the middle to close down everything, and attack from both side with Coleman, Donovan, Baines & Billy?

This might work? But I prefer the first formation, since I can't see Moyes not using Arteta, while Pienaar suspended and if Moyes insist Neville to play then I would rather see him in DM and Coleman in RB!

I'd actually rather go with this

Coleman--Johnny H--Howard--Senderos--Baines--
--------------------Neville-------------------------
--Donovan-----------Arteta-------------Billy------
---------------------------Cahill-------------------
--------------------Saha---------------------------

And Yes Neville is the lone defender and all the defenders are just standing on the goal line with Howard just in front of them.

I think we should go with this

Howard
Neville Senderos Distin Baines
Heitinga
Arteta
Donovan Bilyaletdinov
Cahill
Saha

Bring Osman in for Arteta in the 2nd half, Yak for Saha and Anichebe for Donovan or Bilya. Why ?? well I, like most of you, would like to see Coleman in the game but this is Chelsea we'll be facing so what we need is experience that's why Neville stays at RB.

Then I would play Heitinga at DM with Senderos at CB with Distin, this would give us 2 big and physical CBs With Heitinga protecting the back 4.

And then we got Arteta who I think is fit enough to start. This would give us a very balance midfield. There is no doubt we will miss the BIG FELLA but Heitinga is more than capable of cleaning the midfield and moving the football around without giving it away and Arteta would bring some much needed stability and creativity to the midfield as Osman is more of an attacking mid than a playmaker, thats why I think he would be more useful as a sub.

I dunno guys... We seem to have a very good record drawing to Chelsea in the last couple of seasons... And they did struggle against Hull last week... Not to mention that we had one more day of rest since the weekend, and its a home game for us...

And Arsenal did have their chances to score on Sunday... It's not like it was oneway traffic...

Maybe we can scrape a scrappy draw, like we did at Stamford Bridge...

24-0 Chelsea.

Anelka 12, Drogba sent off for diving, Terry sent off for chatting up some bird in the Park End. Roman comes on for the last 5 minutes and grabs himself 12 goals by paying each player he goes past.
