To quote Alan Hansen, Everton were 'unbelievably good' last night, and it was 'a fantastic game to watch'. Why then do MotD show so little of it? It's at times like this I really, really, REALLY regret changing from Sky to BT Vision as, although I've got Sky Sports 1 and 2, I don't get to use match choice on Football First, damnit! :( (Roll on June when my BT Vision contract finishes and I can get Sky HD - or 3D more likely - back again, they've already offered me the same package as before for half the price. Result (y))

Ha, madly off topic, but thanks for the heads up. I can't get Sky and I'm considering getting sky sports through BT Vision, never thought of that =)

I watched the game again in Football First and what struck me most when the game is edited down to an hour is just how much we were in control.
Watching it live was nail biting stuff, but second time round showed...we really were AWESOME!

Sky Sports News is no longer on Freeview either - Sky removed it two weeks into my BT contract! - so I don't get Soccer Saturday either (and look out for a PM explaining why your name always makes me think of happy days in Crete!)

Just saw the highlights on FSC.

Very nice.

If bored you could watch online at espn3 if your cable co has it.

Missed some of the match. We're damn good when teams play us. Still gotta figure out how to beat the teams that will park the bus against us. Hopefully this will give Saha confidence.

ESPN 3 is not showing the game on a replay unfortunately. It was noted as such prior to the game with a "live only" notation. I just checked and its not available on a replay presently.

Have to say, fair dos to Spurs fans too.

I had a peek on some of their forums and they've all been the most humble I've come across who've lost a match against us. Not many arguments or sly digs at us, just acceptance that were were the better side.

I liked this lid's writing style though, each to their own and that. He also paid us a nice compliment.

10)Everton- Cahill who? Would be their reaction to this game (and most likely The Sun's headline this morning). A masterful performance, brimming with verve, confidence, and one-touch play that looked like the Tottenham of the last few weeks. Great result for them, and things finally seem to be looking up for the desperately unlucky Moyes and the roaring Toffees. Great home support, by the way. First time in a long, long, long time I couldn't hear the travelling Yid Army throughout the ninety.;)

I know its hard, but keep the head up. Im going also and the missus is going too and shes a bit of a lucky charm. She,s been to about 10 games with me over the last few years and we have never been beaten.
I,ve lost all hope in the players so im pinning all my hope on my 4 leaf clover and luck of the irish.

Told ye the missus was a lucky charm. If any of you want to buy her a mini season ticket i,ll mind it for her. We would be guaranteed a europa league place at least.

I was sat beside the whoppers, getting digs in all game they were, giving it the ssssshhhhhhh, every few mins at our lack of singing. One of them had an eye patch, my young lad kept pointing right at him shouting "one eyed willie", great observation!

Also, 2 spurs fans sat beside me, a young lad and his other half. In fairness they hid it well until seamie headed the winner and everyone around went wild but this lad just sat disgusted with head in hands. Or maybe he had 1-1 in the bookies.
