Get a grip and take one game at a time. Good result but average performance if you take away Baines.

You won't ever make me think my glass is half full.

By at this rate I mean the gap staying the same for a couple of games then closing a couple of points. As for tonight, Steve Clarke keeps proving what a good tactician he is during half time and West Brom have already beaten Chelsea and the RS and drawn at Spurs this season.

And Gibbo is back.

Good on Victor. Thought he was brilliant last night. Worked his socks off, chased the ball and just generally put pressure on WBA throughout both halves. He would be a starter with Felli for me at the moment. Blew Jelavic's recent performances out of the water

Think the fans need to play a part in motivating the team not the other way round. The atmosphere last night was shiite. At times it was like being at a reserves match COYB

Thought there were glimpes of us being somewhere near our best but only in patches.

Leading up till the first goal it was really flat both on and off the pitch.

Baines and Pienaar began to link up as they can and leading up until HT was the "old" us.

Plenty of positives to take into a must win again at home on Saturday.

Gibson to start? probably in place of Heitinga, meaning Jagielka back to CH and Neville to RB.

Thought Big Vic did really well, stopped a lot of their attacks before they had chance to develop.

With us winning and Arsenal, Spurs and the Shite losing last night, this weekend could be massive for us.

We simply have to beat Villa, especially with us being away to Utd next week. Stoke will try their best to unsettle Arsenal and could get a draw out of them. On Sunday West Brom will hopefully give Spurs a game and here's hoping City batter the other lot.

We could potentially be 9 points ahead of Liverpool, 5 ahead of Arsenal and 1 or 2 ahead of Spurs.

Or we could lose and everyone else could win FFS.

Titus you have beaten me to it - I was just about to post similar.

Also, Chelski away to Barcodes so hopefully the FSW has another disappointing day!

Not sure if Brom can beat Spurs but hopefully they can manage a draw at home.

We could be smiling come Sunday but then surely we couldn't have two rounds of great results in a row after last night.....could we??
