yeah, last time I arrange to do anything without checking the fixture list.
First match in a while I haven't been able to see the full 90 minutes of, but going off match reports and highlights, it sounds like the 2-1 scoreline flattered West Brom. Disappointed we didn't win by more - been a few games this season we've had the chances to give someone a tonking but not taken them.
Regardless, especially with none of Spurs, Arsenal or Liverpool winning, this was a big 3 points.

....I said before the game that I hope Moyes didn't tinker with the Centre Backs. He needs to stick with Jags and Distin. Hopefully that is clear now. Wouldn't dream of taking anything for granted in respect of Villa, they might just like the air on Merseyside and have good memories of their last visit.

I think this proved that heitinga needed to have gone, would of taken £3-4 mil for that lad and put it towards someone like negredo and have gotten a cb in on loan for cover of jags and distin.
..........I get the feeling JH is running down his contract. Suspect that Moyes would move him on but that can only really happen if the player is willing to go.

Congratulations on the victory. You deserved it purely because our first half was borderline pathetic (again). I didn't think you were brilliant but we managed to be even worse and on that note you merited your half time lead. The goals we've given away are yet again cheap goals which should have been avoided. In the end we left ourselves with too much to do and can only have ourselves to blame.
Good luck for the remainder of the season. Would be superb to see you in the Champions League. Oh & on a side note, batter the Villa please!

We always do mate,but we never seem to get the win our performance's v villa deserve most times.good luck to west brom,though when we conceeded i thought it was going to be everton as ever and somehow let you back in a game that you had hardly been in myself.
