Why would Branners want to play for these? Evertons future looks exciting, these look like they are going to take a long time to get back to anything close to being good.
Manure are the Everton of three years ago. An overpaid, imbalanced squad. Up to their eyes in debt. A stadium well past its best. Several managers since the glory days. We've somehow survived our misery, and the future is looking much brighter. They're on the way down, we're on the way up. What we need here is a nice early goal to build on.

everyone gets therye time

we will get ours ;)

Celtic didn't have a game that particular weekend so a few of their buses came down for this game, I came down as there was spare seats on a mate's bus and it was pay at the turnstile in those days.
We wiped the floor with them in that game and there's no reason why we can't do the same on Saturday.
Utd are all over the place and we're riding the crest of a wave, bring it on.
I remember it well as there seemed to be tricolours in parts of the ground that you would not expect.
I was stood in the St End in close proximity to Simon O’Brien(Damon from Brookside) and then went to the League Cup game at Old Trafford on the Tuesday…what a night that was on and off the pitch!

I've a horrible feeling they're going to be massively bailed out with help from the government on the stadium.

I don't get how they can't be in huge PSR trouble when you look at what they've done the past few years. Absolute mess.
Because the rules are designed to punish clubs like Everton. Not United.

Hence why it was all brushed under the carpet this year when United clearly breached it.

Didn't united get some daft COVID 60 million spend special case and the rest was allowed no more than 10 million. It basically stopped them breaching PSR. Don't get me wrong this might be a little off but it was something around these lines.

And yet it's been ages since we beat United. And a poor United at that.

Everton 0-3 Manchester United (A. Martial 2, M. Oliver)

That might have something to do with the absolutely useless former manager who had an embarrassing record against them.

April 2022 under Lampard was the last time we beat them.
