That said, should have made changes earlier, they were all over us from the KO in the second half.

Fernandes just said the referee was close to the penalty incident so called it right. Yes he did call it right, he gave the penalty FFS only for VAR to talk him out of it

Look it shouldn't have got to this. We were in control for most of the game. One questionable freekick and we crumbled. But for that penalty decision to be overturned is an absolute joke. Daylight robbery. Feels like a defeat. So p*ssed.

To give penalty against a team in red the bar is like a pole vault bar.

Absolutely pathetic from the VAR. The rule is clear, if it could be given VAR should not get involved, only if a clear no penalty situation which that absolutely wasn't.
