If we don't click??

We should have too much for them. 2-0 to us, at least

Kinda glad Zola will be in charge for the game. Means we won't get hit with new manager syndrome. As much as I liked the guy as a player not sure he is management material. Hopefully we will put him out if his misery and put the final nail in.

At least 3-0 to us.

Dangerous game for Me, clearly everybody is expecting a 5-0, hell even Me, so if arent 24-0 at HT the crowd will start to moan and it may affect us.

Still think we will smash them, but an early goal will help us.

Oh no, pessimistic streak kicking in ,playin team on a bad run, on Sky
shiver me timbers!
Nah stuff that we win at a canter.

There's a hell of a lot of love amongst Evertonians for the 'appy 'ammers. When the interweb changed spraffing [Poor language removed] about football into a global pastime you really do uncover some convergent evolution and having a soft spot for West Ham is one of them for us Blues.

When we last time met we were just starting to get the semblance of a first team together and while we won 2-1 we never looked truely settled and a draw might have been a fairer result.

With hindsight it was indicitive of the season to come for both teams. We just had the quality back to hold out despite not playing well and lacking a winning mentality. They had the possession in positions to hurt us but looked fragile at the back and lightweight up front. We grew in confidence and moved upwards as the vast majority of us knew we would. They've had a season from our 90's nightmares.

Their dangermen are obvious and mentioned previously, Parker will be industrious in the middle and Cole will be a stern test for Jags fitness, but at the back there are problems for the Cockneys and we are creating chances. Saha to continue his scoring run against the Hammers. 3-1

It should be a good way to round off the weekend.

Hopefully 3 points to pull away from Brum and catch Villa.

OK, I know I keep coming up with stories like this but....

I was having a full English in a cafe in Bexley (Kent - Charlton the nearest team) yesterday and got talking about football to a feller at the next table (who looked like he was no stranger to the full-E himself!). When I mentioned I supported Everton he told me Tim Cahill is a good friend of his and he's been to his house in Alderly Edge (probably where he does live, too) and occasionally gets tickets off our Tim. I assumed he was a Millwall fan but it turns out he's a Hammer, yet he didn't realize who The Hammers' next game was against! Mind you, I know a lot of 'supporters' who have no idea who their team's next opponents are. I suppose when you're at the wrong end of the table you don't care much anyway.

Like a lot on here have said, i'd like us to thrash them too, which we could but i honestly think it will be a tight game with us winning 2-1. They are fighting to stay up, so they'll be in our faces and will make it hard for us. I'm not putting a bet on this one this week coz the outcome could be anything.

I'd really like the man of steel Heitinga to get a goal he deserves one! We shall win! COYB
