OK, I know I keep coming up with stories like this but....

I was having a full English in a cafe in Bexley (Kent - Charlton the nearest team) yesterday and got talking about football to a feller at the next table (who looked like he was no stranger to the full-E himself!). When I mentioned I supported Everton he told me Tim Cahill is a good friend of his and he's been to his house in Alderly Edge (probably where he does live, too) and occasionally gets tickets off our Tim. I assumed he was a Millwall fan but it turns out he's a Hammer, yet he didn't realize who The Hammers' next game was against! Mind you, I know a lot of 'supporters' who have no idea who their team's next opponents are. I suppose when you're at the wrong end of the table you don't care much anyway.

Not true at all. At the bottom, every game counts...

And gets dissected even more. Unless you're trying to ignore reality, which may be the case for some Hammer types.

Expect a tight, scrappy game.

2-1 Everton.

4 0 in our favour.
The new layout here is so unfriendly on my mobile device, am I the only one who is affected?

If we play our game, this could be comfortable.
However, we have displayed an unwanted knack this season of fashioning a draw from games that had win written all over them!

If the boys have their scoring boots on, not the boots they wore last week, then 3 points for us.

I have seen Everton score 3, 4 and 5 at GP against these in the past :)

Scott Parker, good player and main threat in my eyes.

Realistically, I'd like to see something like that. With Arteta out Bilyaletdinov should come in, we are always at our best when we've got three creative outlets, centrally and on the flanks.

1-0 Everton, a late goal from Osman.

Right, we need some creativity in Centre Mid.

Sooo, put Osman in the midlle, and bring Bilyaletdinov in to play on the right. Or the left and switch Pienaar over.

Basically TB's team ^^^^^

I like the look of this side as well, though we could also try Rodwell on the right as well?

The result at the weekend did not exactly go our way, but as long as we keep winning all our games, we might still get past RS and Villa and finish in 6th place!

What are the odds of Rodwell playing central with Ossie on the right?

The saturday results have gone our way. Reading this thread I get the expression that most of the Everton fans are expecting to run up a cricket score, which could happen. However if we can hang on in there & even nick a goal would your fans get on your teams back?
The last time we were in this position we went to Arsenal & Manure & came away with unexpected wins so who knows what may happen, we are currently due a good performance.

What ever happens enjoy the game

Apart from the fact that spurs were at their best today, villa and citeh both won mate so we haven't got any favours yet. Red [Poor language removed] play tomorrow and it should be a tough one for them.

Oh and I am infact going for a cricket score. I guess 5-0(five for no loss would do)(y)

As long as osman is in the middle we should win this. Midfield of heitinga, rodwell and cahill lacks a bit of creativity. Be good to see billy get a start too. Rodwell looks better as a supersub at the moment. 2-1
