McNeil is linking up play decently well so I don’t really think that’s a massive issue. Maybe you can get Lindstrom on for him and shift Ndiaye central but this is so so much better than McNeil on the left.

And the opposition dictates we're not as deep.

Seeing unifoot McNeil in the middle only underlines how absurd it is that a player made it to the top flight without the ball touching one of his feet.

What's really worrying is that the 3 promoted teams appear to be better than last year's crop.

Are they? Two of them are losing and Ipswich can't keep a lead v Fulham although they could still win that.

Looking better - more fight at least. Looks like the Donny game has done us some good.
