Ndiaye and Tim both brilliant acquisitions. A crying shame we have no pace or dynamism on the flanks.

We've seen this all too many times. Great first 20 minutes, followed by not much. Concede early 2nd half and then fail to make an impact following late subs. Rinse and repeat.

Harrisons end product is a real issue for us. He just doesn't pick the right ball or have a consistently good enough shot
There was some good stuff in that half, particularly first 20 mins where we looked a bit like a football team.

But Harrison is a weak link and blunts our momentum. He seems to think he can run through a defender rather than either pass around him or heaven forbid actually take him on with a dropped shoulder. So easy for the defender and inevitably leads to loss of possession.

Well it’s been a lot better than our first two matches. Glad to see us playing more forward and trying to attack. Fingers crossed for a goal.

One of these typical Everton games where we start out decently, create a few chances, and then begin the long slide of increasingly poor play into losing 1-0 in the 80th minute.

Hope I'm wrong.

McNeil and Harrison as usual just don't do enough WITH the ball.

Dom has had 2 or 3 crosses he needs to be getting on the end of and has ran in the wrong direction.

Iroegbunam makes it look effortless at times, can't remember last time we had a central mid who just glides round the pitch.

Backline needs to just stop playing the punt it long / down the line as often as they do. Tarkowski arguably worst for this these days, at one point in time he'd mix up short and long really well.

Feels like same old same old though, good start crowd up for it fail to take early chances when crowds up and gradually regress as half goes on.
