Player Valuation: £380m
A double from Jo and a penalty from Mikel Arteta secures a 3-0 victory.

A Saturday game at 3.00. This cant be right and we arent even on the tele.

KENWRONG OUT
ROUND OUT
MOYES OUT

I would like to see the team freshened up a little, we have a LOT of tired players out there. Mostly Cahill and a few players could do with a rest, i shall ponder a team and post it upon my pondering.

I have pondered. This is the team i would like us to play, nothing to do with recent performances, as i said i think some players would benefit from a rest.

Howard GK

Hibbert RB
Jags CB
Lescott CB
Baines LB

Captain Pip CM/DM
Rodwell CM/DM

Gosling RW
Peanuts LW

Arteta CM/AM

Jo ST

I would give Ossie a rest and the bash brothers Fellaini and Timmy. Bring 1 or both on in the 2nd half if it isnt going great.

Cahill's got to fly all the bloody way to Japan for the 11th - Competitive match, not a friendly, so he won't be pulling a coincidental 'injury' either, I'd rest him for sure and Osman's been out of sorts recently as well so could do with a break.

Gosling in for Osman.
Jo in for Cahill.

Although Moyes may feel Jo needs more time with the squad and may use him off the bench instead.

Also - more van der Meyde cameos in the last 15mins please!...

I would like to see Mikel moved a little more forward, in the Kaka postion, just for this game. I think him and Jo could do well, Mikel speaks Spanish and im fairly sure Jo does, so they could help each other out. Jo has got a good touch and him and Mikel could play some 5 a sides, get the Goose, Rodders and Peanuts involved.

disagree, i think osman should absolutely play

if we give other players a rest, he could actually play in his preferred position of central midfield, the one where he scores like a maniac.

he's been out of sorts, and i think an opportunity where he has some freedom to play as he likes will do him some good. i still think that outside the box, he's one of our best shooters if not our best, and i think a little solo time to shine could help him regain his confidence.

swap fella for osman and that'd be my lineup as well.

if we're winning at halftime get rodwell on for sure

I think Ossie has been off form the last few games, its only fair that somebody should get a chance. Also the same i would say about Fellaini, plus i think they both are carrying little niggles. Get them both fresh and ready to go for the Villa game. Plus Timmy of course.

true but i don't think we should already look past bolton, the last thing i'd want to do is drop points to a team we should be able to destroy. i feel as invincible as the rest of you after that game, but lets keep grounded

so would your lineup look something like this though?

if so i wouldn't be opposed to it, but i'd really rather we gave osman another go cos i think he needs a chance in his natural position to live up to his potential

Yes, but the only problem is Bolton are a big tall side, so we might need the bash brothers. But i would go with my team, most of the players have good ball retention, so we should be able to pass our way thru them. As i say if its looking bleak we got the A team on the bench. I agree it should be 1 game at a time, but Cahill has run his socks off recently, he could do with a little break to re-charge his batterys. Same with Ossie and the big man. Well in the big mans case i think he has a little niggle, i would hate him to play when not 100%.

Another thing to remember is that Cahill, Pienaar, Arteta and Fellaini are more than likely going to on International duty midweek before a big match against Villa the following Sunday.

Osman, Jo and Neville won't be, so will maybe see out the full 90 with that in mind.

Cahill & Pienaar especially have long trips to Japan and RSA, I'd rather risk resting them against Bolton and send them off fresher than having them returning more knackered for against Villa and playing like Torres did today!...
