Someone needs to **** bolton off out of this league, they are terrible.

We are going to finish top four, we are boss.

Come on Pompey, come on spurs

Bolton were almost as bad as Hull. The first half we just pissed about with the ball. Couldve scored 3 or 4 goals in the first half alone.

Second half wasnt much different, good passing through Arteta, we scored a good goal and then sat back abit, gave them a glimmer of hope whilst they got some possesion, but they didnt go anything with it. Howard was so bored he had to exaggerate some saves to make them look good.

The referee missed some obvious decision - corners for us, handballs etc...but over all he wasnt too bad. Bolton did need about 4 more yellow cards than they got though.

MoM was probably Jo. Arteta controlled the game, but Jo was involved in every goal. Won a penalty, Scored, and Scored a penalty.

And credit to the Bolton fans. All 10 of them were fantastic.

Atleast hes honest [Megson] "That's as bad a performance - we've had some poor performances - but that's as bad a performance as I've seen at Bolton."

that dive for the first pen was olympic standard! he really deserved a yellow card rather than a penalty. although it sounds as though notlob were lucky not to already be behind by then.

A double from Jo and a penalty from Mikel Arteta secures a 3-0 victory.

A Saturday game at 3.00. This cant be right and we arent even on the tele.

KENWRONG OUT
ROUND OUT
MOYES OUT

I would like to see the team freshened up a little, we have a LOT of tired players out there. Mostly Cahill and a few players could do with a rest, i shall ponder a team and post it upon my pondering.

Blimey!

ive been reading a few bolton forum threads on the game and i think they raise an interesting point.

now theres no denying we played very very well and defo earned the 3 points .

but did we really deserve the 3 points ?

first goal , dubious penalty that does look like a dive.
second , great skill but was jo offside ?
third , was it intentional and was it inside the box ?

it could be said that if those decisions went the other way it could have very easily have been 0-0 despite all the great play.
perhaps we need a bit more target practice.

No

If we didnt get the penalty we wouldve scored anyway, guaranteed. They were [Poor language removed], we were great.

The game is on tape delayed later here in the USA and I usually don't look at the result before I watch it.

I'm going to watch it later but this was just weird.

I'm watching the Chelsea vs. Hull City match on Setanta. Well they'll occasionally put up scores from other matches along with any goals scored and who the goal scorers were.

So at about minute 35 or so, they show some scores including Everton vs. Bolton which at the time was 0-0. I see that and I'm not lying here, I say to myself "We haven't scored against Bolton but I could see us getting our first goal on a penalty here." Not two minutes later, they show "Everton 1 - 0 Bolton....Arteta '40 (Pen)"

I about fell over.

Glad to hear we did well and I'm looking forward to watching it later.
