You might want to check up on what Zaha has been up to this year. Not letting him do anything while being a total liability with the ball isn't MotM stuff, imo.

I didn't vote for him as MoM. He kept Zaha quiet, something I don't think Sidibe would have done.

Yeah. Wouldn't disagree with that but I think that was down to the personel rather than the formation, thought we looked more comfortable when Davies came on.

The midfield is the problem yes, but 442 isn't too blame. We have two strikers scoring goals so we can't change that, especially against teams who can be got at - essentially everybody apart from Liverpool. We can't have 3 in the middle as the quality is appalling, hopefully Gomes will have a calming influence on the team upon his return.

Couldn't understand Sidibe going on for Walcott, I thought he kept getting Coleman into trouble. Coleman was looking for an out ball and Sidibe wasn't on.
I know DCL scored but I am not convinced he is the answer, when Davies played him in he never looked like scoring plus the sitter he put over the bar. Don't think he is clinical enough. He looks as if he needs 3 or 4 chances to get one, against good teams he isn't going to get a couple of chances before he gets his eye in. I accept he is the best we have at the moment.

Benteke once again is absolute pony all season but is somehow well up to play Everton. Should buy him and loan him to Belgium for the rest of his life.

This felt a bit lucky. Like 60-40 lucky. We deserved it 60% and the draw 40%. But not complaining.

Defence panics could have cost - not forgetting the obligatory Pickford Panic (like when your favourite armchair has gone missing on moving houses)..

Our one true footballer Mr Micky Bernard got on the end of a rare good pass. In fact only the goals lit up a poor game. Richo scored a good un and makes one for Dom (otherwise shackled by Tomkins and co.)

So Richo gets my MOM vote

To be fair hindsight or after the event, it's easy to say that mate, no offense. But I think it was the manner of the goal we conceded, plus at that time Palace were all over us, that's the reasons myself and many more of us were venting. Football is a funny old game.
