I think we were playing well until in my opinion Moyes made the wrong substitutes.

I thought Young for Lindstrom was fair enough, he was tired and nearly gave a penalty away. Once McNeill and Garner are back we'll have more options and hopefully we'll get one or two more options in. Keane for O'Brien was a weird one though.

I'm hoping long term that we've actually won in the best way possible. Loads of obvious positives, but clear as day issues exposed too to the point that they have to be addressed.

That's my thinking. A win a great first 60-65 performance and a clear drop when certain players had to be taken off due to fatigue and nobody to replace other tiring ones.

Soon as Lindstrom and Ndiaye tired you saw Doucoure on the ball a lot more and boy that's when it all went wrong.

Need him out the side and a new lad in.

Think Moyes will have learnt as much from the panic in the last 10 minutes as he will have from the attacking play in the first 80.

Yeah now the whistle has gone it’s better to have had those 10 minutes than a walk in the park.

That last 20 minutes will get looked at by Moyes.

Lessons learned.

It's a positive in a way to be winning in such a fashion as it'll give him plenty of signs of who can be trusted, who can't last 90 minutes, whose head drops, which subs worked and didn't, etc.

Start with that side against Brighton, but get Doucoure off much earlier.

Just watched Ange's post match interview, his whole demeanor has changed from the happy go lucky fella we saw early on, doesn't even look up from his boots all through the interview.
Remember when he was the media darling and flavour of the month?

Great start by Moyes and he will learn a lot about the team from that last 15 minutes.

That last 15 mins hopefully wiped out any danger of complacency. Still some better player options needed.

Thats also discounting the various times he failed to successfully pass the ball 10 yards.
