We've literally got a very promising young player who's being chased by a number of the top teams who plays in the position Doucoure was playing. He could easily have come on for the last 20 minutes and been an improvement, but Moyes doesn't do youth.
Moyes doesn't do attacking subs when we're leading.

See 12 years away hasn't changed that. I knew we'd be under the cosh as soon as he started making subs. Same as it ever was.

Didn't he only turn 18 a week ago? I completely understand not putting him in but Harrison or Beto could've been options.

We held out but it showed how valuable some pace off the bench would be.
Very short term memories if you thought he'd make attacking subs whilst we were leading.

So what happened between Villa on Wednesday and Totting-ham today with DCL? On Wednesday I sat in the main stand with my head in my hands after he'd missed his third sitter, today he looked like a different player. He contained Gray in a way we haven't seen him play for a long time and led with substance. I do, however, still think it's time for him to move on to pastures new.

I was suitably impressed with Jake O'Brian's debut, what was Dyche's problem with him, for me he put in an admirable shift, he's a big lad who moves well and looks polished in possession. Ndiaye, as ever our beacon of hope for the future, lifted the lid off the grand old lady with his goal and still created chances through the game. Deservedly man of the match.

I was disappointed in the appointment of Moyse, I saw it a a lack of ambition from Friedkin group and whilst I still respect the man I didn't think his second coming would create a messiah. I'm not going to hold my breath but I'm more than happy to be proven wrong.
