Not far off a must win imo.

However like Villa we have Spurs not losing at Goodison since dinosaurs (Big Sam, Dyche) roamed the Earth seemingly.

Despite their issues at the back all of Son-Solanke-Johnson-Maddison-Kuluveski going to cause huge issues on the break so not really sure how Moyes plays this.

Richi got twenty minutes last night from his comeback and scored twice on his return last year so he's another to add to the mix.

Think this is going to be a 1-3 defeat. Defence is going to need to be a million times better than last night to keep a clean sheet.

Spurs are ripe for the taking, you’ve got to think it’s a game we have to target to win. I don’t think they are as good a side as villa.

I think this spurs side suits this Everton more than most in the prem , a robust and physical performance can cause them problems.

What basis? The record against them has been awful for years. Pretty much always lose 3 or 4 down there and they haven't lost at Goodison in over a decade in the premier league so not a trauma away ground like the top ones.

Only way to win this is low block and then scramble a goal or two off a set piece. That is what Dyche would do and it actually worked last year with the two goals. However the set pieces are rubbish without McNeil on them. I think if he can make training on Friday he's on the bench at worst here.

Will Moyes revert to that style so early in his reign, I think he has no choice.

Historically I agree 100% but the Spurs side that will be traveling over on Sunday are a different team. Son is washed, Johnson is a headless chicken, Maddison is indifferent. Kulusevski has been their best player this season. Solanke has generally done ok. Big points are the state of their third and fourth choice centre backs and the backup keeper was all over the place from set pieces against Arsenal. Their central midfield is nothing special either. They have also played a similar starting eleven in countless games of late and they looked drained against Arsenal last night.

Not saying Everton will win but they couldn't really be playing Tottenham at a better time this season given the above.

Honestly thinking of swerving this one, just mentally for my own wellbeing. There's zero joy going the game, I'm miserable afterwards and even my pensioner dad said he'd have spewed going the game years ago if it want for the new stadium. Our only fun to watch player- N'Diaye, is toiling at the halfway line having a midfield and a defence to get through single handedly as the rest of the squad is so so poor.

Their boss will be playing for his job.

Second match for Moyes on his reunion tour after running down his contract leaving Everton and running away from Sky Sports News reporters outside Kenwrights office when asked if he was leaving.

He needs to get the fans and players in motion like that now to try and secure some points to move away from the bottom 3.

We have a Spurs team as visitors who are in a slump of form and the fans have turned on Big Ange. Just like us, the fans are ready to jump on any mistake and let the players know all about it.

We need some changes to the starting 11. Please start this man

And please sign us some new players.

I'm going for a shock result of a boring nil nil.

No idea what Harrison Armstrong is meant to bring to this side?

This is a key game one we need to win I'm sure Tottingham need a result too. My only hope for us is Moyes. That he ditches the Dyche era and puts his own team out. Last night there were minute positives and tweaks but he basically put out a Dyche team. Rip it up Moyes. No rewards for the same old.

Moyes must have seen enough last night to realise doucoure is not a 10 and Harrison is so flat out of confidence compared to his first few matches for us that he cant put those two out until they have been rehabed post dyche. Probably same for DCL but dont think he has much option.
Perhaps he will play Armstrong in front of Mangala and Gana...??
