Its derby day. I'm Awake, ready for action,

let today be the great day of redemption,
the day the world, nay, the universe is set to rights,
the day when good sportsmanship and fair play triumph over cynical foul play, diving and cheating,
the day children all over the world see through their tears what a horrible thing it is to be a Red as they cast their foul Kopite shirts aside,
the day the referee is not swayed by the forces of darkness, the day when finally justice and honor prevail,
the day when the world unites in joy and celebration as the glorious, triumphant, mighty, Legendary Everton side,
led by he who will prove to be the greatest man ever to manage a football team,
finally and convincingly, cast the Red ****e back to the abyss from whence they came.
COME ON YOU BLUES!

Started the drive up about 20 minutes ago. Wanted to get some sleep in the car but too busy ****ting myself about the game. Come on Everton, put them to the sword.

Watch the fume begin around 12 when Osman is confirmed as a starter

Certainly will, had a great dream by the way, The Barca kid cut in from the left Gwladys St end and unleashed one fom the angle of the pen area, and it flew in to the top left hand corner, 2-1 very vivid btw, so that's my bet.

First time for like 5 years that I won't be watching in some form. Real world is rubbish, need to do another degree!

I have a feeling Martinez might give too much respect to what today is and it'll make for a painful watch.

Would love to see Barkley and Deulofeu start and tear into them but I doubt they will.

Was very optimistic up to the palace game but our lack of punch shook me a little. But this will be a new game and hope that the positivity of the new man in charge will make a big difference. They really are not all that. Come blues get stuck in and for goodness sake move that ball faster and win those one on one battles!!

Defenders Antolin Alcaraz and Tony Hibbert are available after long lay-offs but they are unlikely to play.

Liverpool full-back Jose Enrique has been ruled out with a knee injury which will probably require surgery.

Striker Daniel Sturridge has been nursing a dead leg for several weeks and his condition will be assessed, while Kolo Toure is fit to return.

Everton's only win in the last 13 Premier League Merseyside derbies was a 2-0 victory at Goodison Park in October 2010, which was Liverpool's first game under new owner John W Henry.
Everton have lost seven of those 13 games and failed to score in eight (W1, D5, L7).
This fixture has produced the most red cards in Premier League history (20) - although Jack Rodwell's dismissal in 2011 was later overturned.
Saturday's match will be the 221st Merseyside derby, and the 189th in the league. Liverpool lead by 87 wins to Everton's 66 in all competitions.

The Toffees are unbeaten in their 14 Premier League matches at Goodison Park in 2013 (W10, D4). It is 51 years since Everton last went an entire calendar year unbeaten at home in the league.
Everton have recorded consecutive goalless draws. They have not drawn 0-0 in three successive league matches since February 1982.
They have not conceded a league goal for five hours and 30 minutes.
Tim Howard will start his 272nd Premier League game for Everton, breaking the club record set by David Unsworth.
