Imo all the Lids can hold their heads high after that performance. Yes there were mistakes, yes most players will play better in the team in the future, but i've witnessed FAR worse performances against that scum in the last ten years or so. Far worse.
Not a bad job at all for your first derby Roberto, and good effort all.

Dont wanna start an argument but if ossie isn't to blame then why is he standing in front off and then get outjumped by sturridge. Just watched it again myself.

i see ya point about distin being the main reason but the goal came from the resulting passage of play. I still blame Fellaini for Carroll's winner at wembley even though coleman is the one that fouled gerrard near the corner. Put it this way do you blame Howard for suarez's goal because of his positioning or whoever it was that gave the free kick away. I blame Howard personally.

when the ball is whipped in barkley didn't check sturridge run ossie was marking rat face when the ball was played cant see how he gets the blame
im pissed @ distin as he didn't need to make that challenge u could see seconds prior to it him running onto it like a bull in a china shop and as we were so poor dealing with set plays today why give them one last opportunity to whip the ball into the box

howard at fault for ratface goal he took it well and there was only 1 place he could have stuck it and he did but TH got his angles wrong and maybe could have directed pienaar a bit better as in get in the wall or get out and mark someone as opposed to standing a bit too far away to do anything but not that far away where it would look like he could have done something about it

Blimey, what a roller coaster of a game. Before the game I said win lose or draw I would accept it so long as we played at pace with self belief and attacking intent. Got to say they ticked all those boxes.
However the frustrated when will we ever really do that pile of @@@@ part of me felt like we had lost at the end. RM did brilliantly with the Baines sub. It came off because Barkley played so well. But the other changes were too fiddle and prevented us from getting settled after getting the lead. Too many changes when we needed possession in the familiar pattern that had got us the lead in the first place.
That said well done lads, no knife to a gunfight mentality there today. Please sort out the defending though, heart breaking lay bad against a v average oppo.
