I thought he had 'unfinished business' with Chelsea? Ha.
What a knobhead. I sincerely hope he gets clattered in Goodison on 17th September.
More importantly I hope walsh and Koeman are allowed use all of the fee, we still have a way to go if we are to build a team that can break up the top four monopoly.

Suarez and Bale both where players who dragged there teams up a level through there ability and character especially in crucial games, Lukaku I'd say was the opposite, can't think of one players game in our team which was raised by playing alongside him, and for me that's a very telling thing on why we well improve next season with him gone.

Anybody moaning about the fee needs to give their heads a wobble.

This.

£75m+ for Lukaku is incredible business. I was holding out hope at £80m as a maximum, so the news we've wrangled up to £90m for him is fantastic.

People need to remember this is a player who has engineered a move, yet we've handled this transfer impeccably and took every penny we could for him. Again.

One thing you can't accuse Everton of is selling on the cheap when it comes to sought after players.

In a bit Lukaku. A player who I could never properly take to, I can't think of many goals he scored in big games apart from Chelsea in the cup, Kiev away, a couple in his first derby.

He went missing far too often, and for a top striker he never won us games on his own or looked arsed when we were getting beat.

I'm happy it's sorted so early in the window. He'll score loads there, but there's no guarantee he will do it in the big games, or in the champions league. I hope we spend the money on another striker and we're not just going with Sandro and Rooney.

Let's have it right...he's still gonna bang in 20+ goals for them. They'll challenge for the title IMO just moving on from last season.

They're still a minus a big game player. Zlatan helped massively get them to finals etc. Rom isn't that kind of player yet.

Maybe Pogba, Mkhitaryan, or Mata can step up to that. But at the moment they've got a goal scorer they didn't have last season.
