Everton Agree Fee With Man Utd For Lukaku

United do have best away fans tbh, their home fans are woeful though.

Either way he's just saying what any new signing needs to say.

Most annoying away fans, I'll give you that.

That constant moronic chanting they indulge in makes watching their televised away games a grind :pint2:

Bummer that he missed so many chances in that fa cup semi final hey.
He might have got some silver then.

This really, obviously none of us can deny he's making a step up to a team who will actually compete a lot more than us, but still, he hasn't exactly been head and shoulders above the rest of the squad in big matches. Most of it wasn't his fault like, because we've had very average attacking options in the time he's been here, but we all know a majority of it has stemmed from him not holding onto the ball properly like a real striker.

Anyway, meh, let's continue our juggernaught and maybe just maybe we'll bypass them again like we did a couple of seasons ago.

Kind of typical for him to announce himself.
I can respect him for that. It's his life if he wants to announce something up to him. He doesn't need to follow convention and let some bad tories on fleetstreet bring it to the public.

Still dead to me though.

goes with my best wishes, i certainly won't be booing him, but yeah, obviously hope he flops. Nothing personal, i just want that for most players after they leave us bar the exception like cahill, gives us more pleasure in the massive fee we offloaded for and makes it more justified.

But read his words earlier, pretty laughable tbh. "didn't give it a second though?" hmm, the words "would i choose between them or chelsea if i had to" never sprung to mind? Okay rom. "Best fans in the world"? man united fans? haha I know this is all run off the generic template, but he could have been a bit wiser. In this media infested world where everyone is hung out to dry, every journo is going to be pointing out his words of "unfinished business at chelsea" etc.

ah well, we got a brilliant deal and are setting up a brilliant squad, so thankfully i'm not upset about this, it's weird, it could be years until we attract a better striker.

Yes.

To me it is Chelsea fans more than us whom are entitled to feel aggrieved this morning.

We knew Lukaku was going.....and we are well used to him being a bell and disrespecting our club.

But they were totally expecting the return of the Prodigal.....instead they are left in limbo with a striker crisis and egg on their faces.

Never mind the reception he gets when he comes back here.....the reaction at the Bridge will be interesting lol

- As never anything positive about Everton
- Talked up a move away since day 1, including his first ever interview. Stating, IIRC, Everton have developed some players that have moved into bigger clubs, hopefully that'll be me
- For years talks about Chelsea, how they're his club and he has unfinished business, then signs for Utd
- before he's even signed the contract he's talking about them having the best fans in the world, LOL
- on a lap of honour, when the fans are chanting his name, he's on his phone watching streams from Chelsea winning the league
- gave one of the most selfish performances I have ever witnessed against Utd away. Potentially costed us 3 points
- told Ashley Williams to be quiet because he couldn't trap a bag of cement

Sssssssssnake

I was going to make a list of why I hate him but you have already done so.

Just missed out moaning about wanting wanting to win things yet looking worse than Brett Angel, missing a pen and at least 5 excellent chances v United at Wembley.

He is a choker in big games. We can and will do better than this biff.

Good riddance.

His press conference will be interesting when he gets asked about Chelsea

Imagine when he starts having those hissy fits with more of the world to watch when he plays for United

i still don't understand chelsea. He was united's 3rd choice, he was chelsea's top target! They were willing to pay as much as £75m, but didn't want to pay about £10m extra to the agent? Why didn't they just offer us about £7m more than what united were offering. He would have chosen them over united all day long had that been the case imo. They have a bottomless pit of cash, what's an extra couple of million if you're paying such a large fee to start with?

I would not be shocked at all if they end up actually getting a better striker than lukaku. I read about aubamayeng yesterday, he's definitely better than rom, so wouldn't be surprised if they went for him.
