He mentioned nothing about being beaten by United though. I can see what he's driving at: Lukaku scores and shuts his detractors up...the ones who were cheering his name a few weeks back.

The words Lukaku is using to describe United and its fans is just PR BS. How can anyone get wound up by that?

definitely, especially after we stood by him in a fair majority after his refusal to sign a contract. there's not many sets of fans in the world who would have done that imo.

I just read on the internet the interview he gave to some American sports channel, did he even mention Everton at all, not from what I read. He called Man U fans the best in the world. debatable to say the least.

Is it just me that finds this the weirdest transfer ever?

Like, from what I can tell, United fans aint exactly doing cartwheels over their new, record signing; Chelsea fans, at his "dream move" destination dont seem that arsed they missed out, and us lot, its pretty much a collective sigh, "Thanks Rom, we will be fine".

For a £100m (sort of) transfer.
