We will go in with massive positivity after this window, the El qualifiers should put us a few weeks ahead fitness wise than the other teams also, especially the likes of City, United and Chelsea who all have big tours to the US etc atm


Plus like Watford found the other year when they practically changed their entire starting team, a lot of changes can be a nightmare for those 'tactical' managers like Mourinho, Conte etc as they won't have a clue what we are gonna line up with

We get through those opening games with a couple of big wins,and boy this could be something exciting (even more so if Rooney looks like the Rooney of old)

Been on my mind that. After seeing the two of them being all Billy Big Boys in LA, Rom arrested, Pogba being a "social media" whore, it would worry me. If I was manager of United.

But I am not, so hope it all goes utterly nips up.

Yes guys i take your points about Lukaku and his defiecences and the potential problems , but for you its a problem surely how are you going to replace his goals ?

We are signing players like it is going out of fashion, Sandro will get a hatfull .... Dont worry about us worry about your dressing room split and unrest within the first fortnight of the new season and how your quitter manager is going to handle it .....

Fair point, and it has crossed our minds.

The general consensus was that with Rom, we could really only play one way. Not a dig, just the fact. The thoughts are that with the incomings, plus the likely incomings not yet signed, there will be loads more flexible ways of setting up, and sharing the goals wider around the team.

Like, Rom bagged 25, the next best player was 5. Ish.
