You mean the guy who has won 2 European Cups and countless titles and Cups all over Europe

Yes the same guy with the blank cheque book, how times have changed, now he just quits when things dont go his way
He will be tested this time though blowing cash on Pogba and now Lukaku, will be like walking on eggshells with those two
upset one you upset the other, I think the big cheeses would see Jose out the door first ..... worth a punt on first manager to walk

Why would Jose walk he is the first manager at Old Trafford to win trophies in his first season in charge

its what he does when he `loses the dressing room` matter of when not if in my opinion ...... worth a bet early on could be good return

No chance of that at all , Jose might not be everybodys cup of tea but he has a fantastic record of winning wherever he has been , only at Madrid did he perform under-par perhaps

50/1 at the mo.

Got to be worth a fiver ;)

Is it just me that finds this the weirdest transfer ever?

Like, from what I can tell, United fans aint exactly doing cartwheels over their new, record signing; Chelsea fans, at his "dream move" destination dont seem that arsed they missed out, and us lot, its pretty much a collective sigh, "Thanks Rom, we will be fine".

For a £100m (sort of) transfer.

Odd.

yep, especially for a 23 year old striker who's smashed all kinds of scoring records ha

Not too sure about this signing tbh. Never was that much of a fan of his. I understand he will guarantee goals, its his overall play that has me concerned - especially his dreaded first touch lol.
Tbf at times he can have excellent control, it just seems like he has his own personal force field that is somtimes switched to attract and the rest to repel.

But he is very clinical with his chances and even when he is having a bad game he can conjure up a bit of magic all by himself. Also got an excellent injury record - important give your hassles with both RVP and Rooney.

Personally I'm going to miss him a lot even if we do get a good replacement in.

More I think about this the more happy I am with the actual amount we've got for him with a Rooney thrown on top. I'm sure we were talking 50 million quid a few years ago.

Yes guys i take your points about Lukaku and his defiecences and the potential problems , but for you its a problem surely how are you going to replace his goals ?
We would of finished in the same position without his goals so although he scored 25 goals last season it wouldn't of made a slight bit of difference if we didn't have them.

I look forward to seeing us have a striker jump to win headers from goal kicks. For some reason he could never be arsed to do that despite being 6ft 3 and more than enough of a hulk to challenge most center backs in the air. I could never get that one.

Alan Shearer @alanshearer

I did. I turned down ....Barcelona!
Don't forget the chance to play for the best fans as well. Doesn't say much for how he thinks of us when he get put the fans of a team he hasn't played for yet ahead of us. But this is Rom at the end of the day and doesn't surprise me at all.

Yes speaking as a United fan im not completley convinced about lukaku , i did watch a few games last season and at times he looked very good but on other occasions he drifted out of the game , however his goalscoring stats are not bad at all , hopefully he can score goals and turn some of our draws into victories , for Everton themselves they have a good deal and money to find a replacement , good luck to Wayne as well he done fantastic for United whilst he was here.

he scored a lot of goals last season against fodder you drew against. It's fairly similar to liverpool ... except they never actually rectify it, they just go and buy the same player they already have. Without being too offensive, you guys did seem a very one man team last season and that man won't be there next season. You'll need a lot more than rom and a young defender to be where you want to be.
