An it was me asked why I was being a smart arse? Yeah it's factual and yes you make a viable point but I'm going on facts and that's why I said it!!

The results could have been significantly better, we'll never know. He only scored in 15 games.

A bit like Stones to City this time last year.

None of the City fans I know were particularly enthused by his signing for them....and a year later they still feel the same way :(

Our big signing of last summer, Bolasie, was greeted with an almost universal meh in Evertonia.

I think in many ways the fans are ahead of the curve on this.....we sense when expensive signings don't excite us and significant departures which don't particularly bother us.

Whereas the football professionals keep the hype going to ensure the money is kept circulating in their rarified environment.
