Everton Agree Fee With Man Utd For Lukaku

Imagine if in a few weeks time Pogba suddenly becomes distant from Rom. Doesn't reply to whatsapps, doesn't dance with him every time a camera's near. So Rom takes him to one side and says, "What's going on? I feel like we've been moving apart lately" and Pogba replies, "I was never your friend. I don't even like you. Jose and Mino told me to get close to you so you'd sign for united".

It was good to see Rom in a blue shirt playing for us, I'll miss that, how much remains to be seen but it was good to have him here,he's a good player Rom. It's a shame we couldn't have kept hold of him, next season could have been special if he'd have stayed and the new signings clicked into place. Now he's gone someone else's turn to step upto the plate.

The Belgian international’s £75m transfer from Everton was confirmed on Monday - but the fee will rise to £90m in add-ons.

The requirements to reach those additional payments are said to be ‘achievable’ - meaning United expect to meet the full amount and make the 24-year-old the costliest player of all time.

Lukaku’s add-ons will be made in two separate instalments, although the exact requirements have not been revealed.

Often such transfers will include bonus payments based on stipulations such as winning the Ballon d’Or.

But the terms of Lukaku’s deal are believed to include much more attainable targets.

And United will have no problem meeting those add-ons, with Jose Mourinho believing the striker will spearhead the club’s Premier League title challenge in the new season.

No best wishes from Everton

Rightly so.
99.9999% done.
Then speaks to pot noodle head Belgian journalist answering No about new Everton contract. Laughs and says he never thinks about our club.

Then 2 days later announces that he will not sign and belittles our ambition.

Why would we thank him for that when we are trying to reach the top and attract the best.

When you put it like this above it does show what a snake him and his agent are. The contract would have been signed if we had allowed the release clause, he would have taken the extra cash and left anyway probably for a lesser fee.
