Rightly so.
99.9999% done.
Then speaks to pot noodle head Belgian journalist answering No about new Everton contract. Laughs and says he never thinks about our club.

Then 2 days later announces that he will not sign and belittles our ambition.

Why would we thank him for that when we are trying to reach the top and attract the best.

There are 15 million reasons why Everton should "wish him well".

But thank goodness 15 million quid ain't what it used to be in L4.

Boy do I love being rich

When you put it like this above it does show what a snake him and his agent are. The contract would have been signed if we had allowed the release clause, he would have taken the extra cash and left anyway probably for a lesser fee.

Indeed.

The agent would have had Lukaku sign a new deal if the club had set a low release clause figure.

United and Lukaku's agent learned the same lesson Chelsea and Citeh learned in the previous two summers with Stones....we ain't being pushed around no moah.

Bullies beware.....this not the summer of 2004.

Lu says he's known of Utd interest for a year, year and a half. I imagine he never had any intention of staying with us.
The contract being 99.9% done was just a ruse concocted with Riola to get a "cheap" release clause. Whatever u think of BK he wasn't taken in by the bs and held firm making us more £.
Lu did provide bags of goals and turned out to be a lucrative investment so I guess we have to acknowledge Bobby got something right.

£100m and the best part of 100 goals. Incredible business by Everton back in 2014.

Staggering that some thought it wasn't at the time. Seemed pretty obvious what was going to happen.
