Had a bit of spare time in work and thought 'i wonder if there is a more dull club than us'.
We haven't won anything for 25 years, we never achieve anything, but we don't ever go in to full melt down either!
We just sit there, not really doing anything....its like footballing purgatory.
Anyway here is the list of when the last time every club in the league achieved something.
Only Oldham have gone longer without actually doing something (promotion, win a play off, a cup etc)
But Oldham have been relegated in that time, so there ahas been a significance!

However yes its true, a none even of a football club, only a trophy ends this, thankfully were not stuck in Europe next season so we can have a real go at the cups

Top division, Europe, or cups that everyone is in (FA, League) are the only things that matter. How many clubs have actually won those?

We had been in a stage of managed decline by Kenwright. Keep us up Davie, need to sell Davie, nudge nudge, wink, wink. Dont need to win anything. Grand old team us Davie, Pen Knife to a gun fight us, Peoples club us. We got what was sown for us. Relegation may have brought it to a head earlier, Kirkby nearly did. Now some poor sod has wasted a fortune on largely rubbish acquisitions. Its hard to turn a losing, pacifistic culture around. New stadium, last chance in my eyes.

I'm not sure it even is, though, it's just some people who are average/poor at their job not often doing enough to be sacked with the odd bigger blunder along the way. It's like many a medium sized office anywhere in the country

Had this conversation with a Watford fan last year weirdly. He reckons that days like that mad Leicester play off semi final where they countered a penalty in the last minute and beat Leicester at the death are worth the sadness of relegations.

I genuinely don’t know. I remember going mental beating United on pens in a semi, destroying Chelsea in a quarter final when Lukaku bossed it, some big league victories, the odd good European night but what’s it worth? That Deeney goal lead to them winning at Wembley and getting promoted. I’ve never seen us win anything, no matter what tier it is.
