If you take away the pomp and 'luvvy-ness' from Bills various speeches last night, you can see the bloke is a massive fan of Everton. He'd be ace if he wasn't the Chairman on whom our funding, strategy and business relied upon.
Interesting that even he had a veiled dig at Ginger Nuts when saying this was the best season he could remember and how Finch Farm was transformed into a place of enjoyment and positivity the day Roberto and his posse rode in.

I don't like Kenwright and do think he is dragging this club down for his own status quo but I enjoyed his speech just for the fact it must of made the players feel appreciated and who knows it may have impressed Barry and Lukaku enough to hope they feel wanted and could have a little pull in where they end up next season.

Did you watch Barry's expression? He didn't even look up, he was looking at the floor for simply not giving a sixpence about Bill speaking volumes of him.
