Sssssh ffs

"I’d have found it very difficult to keep them because I always felt the right thing to do was what was right for the players."

What alternative interpretation are you giving that then? How can it be anything other than him saying that the players shouldn't be held back in their careers?

Seriously mate, you're clutching at straws here. He's saying United are the gateway to those players' better future. Though as I say, I'd be interested to hear this alternative explanation of yours and MACCA's.

Always liked Martinez so abit disappointing we seem to be trying to bully him into submission to sell his players. :(

Yeah thanks mate. Go and polish your trophies...or if you're a Kopite wind up, go and see if you can find some paving stones to drop on a Bulgarian.

I've just seen 4 or 5 posters use the term 'held back' when quoting Moyes, so just correcting that - not defending Moyes for his sheer hypocrisy and increasingly desperate use of the media to unsettle our players.

our ex manager should practice what he preaches and allow Roony to further his career as well -
refusing to sell him despite transfer requests -
our ex feels nothing for Everton - he has as much feeling for us as a cow with a wooden udder for its calf -
11 years of Everton fan loyalty p1$$ed against a United concrete wall -
trying torob us in the last week of the transfer window - how low can you go sir ?

I know mate. I think the term was correct to use though. The implication couldn't be missed. Moyes was clearly pointing out, if left at this club that would be unfair on the players.

Told today at the match that Moyes isnt getting anywhere with his offer and has phoned at least one of them last weekend and told him to put in a transfer request in an effort to see it through.

The player told him he wouldnt do that and its down to Moyes and Kenwright to sort things out.

Surely that is illegal? I thought a buying club wasn't allowed to contact a player unless the selling club agreed.

I'm sure two honest people like David Moyes and Bill Kenwright can come to a gentleman's agreement behind the back of the new Everton manager.

Loathsome pair of ****s.
