Everton confirm rejecting 28M for both Fellaini and baines

This Utd fan is typical of the tourist merchandising shtehawk organisation that club has become how right Roy Keane was sticking them with the "prawn sandwich" comment.

I hardly know any of the utd midfield so non descript are they, certainly none come to mind as a decent swap for Felli. (Carrick hahaha - has he got a wooden leg that fella? can't move)

RVP won the title single handedly last year they're on the verge of an apocalypse now several other clubs have strengthened and age has caught up with the old guard - bollocks to them ignorant cnts.

Because he's not worth it. He's very limited and only suits a certain style of play. Compared to other DM he comes up well short. Take carrick for example - He might not posess his physically and be able to foul people regulary but he protects our back four and creates for us all in one. He's a 1 man midfield with tom cleverley doing sweet **** all.

Can Fellaini pick a pass? Is he comfortable on the ball? Can he beat a player with skill and invention rather than just strength? Can he score a goal from outside the box regulary, can he help dictate posession?

All these questions remain unanswered and it's the reason no one has bothered to activate the release clause.

The fact he completely dominated your team last season answers those 3 straight away.

It's bizarre the idea saying whether Fellaini is as good as Carrick. Last season Fellaini absolutely annihilated Carrick in every way. It was one of the most one sided performances I have seen all season. Carrick isn't fit to shine Fellaini boots.
As for scoring goals, Fellaini got 11 league goals last year, which is 1 less than Rooney. How many did Carrick get ffs.

Moyes is being an utter cnut using the manure loving media to get both Baines and Fellaini at knockdown prices.
When i hear Gary Neville stating on MOTD that 15 million for Baines with him 'only' being a left back is overpriced.
Have a look at those stats you have available to you Gary Neville, read them out and then think of what you're saying.
Neville you prick,Baines is a far better player than you ever where.

Firstly, let's not get silly in our desire to humiliate the silly manc for being ridiculous.
Carrick is a very good player and was vital to United winning the title last season- no one in the league made more successful attacking passes i believe, and he's a great distributor of the ball.

As for Fellaini destroying Carrick last season- that is true. But Carrick was playing at CB due to injuries- hardly his natural position. Doesn't make Fellaini better than him. Even if I feel he might be. But considering how people rave about Gibson (as do I), I think its silly to slate Carrick.

It doesn't matter what United fans and Moyes think about Fellaini and his abilities, same about Baines, you are the one who wants to buy them, you are the ones who came with 2 bids for Baines and a bid for Fellaini, we did not send our sales team to you telling you we want you to buy our 2 players, now i have never seen a team trying to buy a player while talking about their negative points, if you think Baines is 28 and old, don't efing buy him, if you think Fellaini is not good enough for you, don't efing buy him.

He might not worth 15M in the transfer market, but if you want to buy him, you have to pay 30M for him, we are free to demand whatever price we want, we can demand 50M for Baines, it's up to us to decide at what price we will sell them to you, in the end of the day you are the ones running after our players, not the opposite.

For me the Fellaini issue is only one of getting 'our' price for him, a price 'we' set.Sure I'd love us keep him but he wants out.
Baines I want to keep, and as far as am aware he's happy at Everton. There are NO other left backs on the market as good as Baines he's irreplaceable.
£15 million is an insult for our most important player.

The comparison should be Cleverley, surely ?

Carrick is a deep lying play-maker, his passing is superb, and has been probably Uniteds key player over the last 5 years.

Carrick ffs. Badly limited, Fellaini is twice the player

I know we're all anti Man U right now but lets not distort reality. Carrick led Man U to a title last year with a shambles of a midfield around him. None of the widemen had a good season, Kagawa Cleverley and Giggs had spurts and bursts here and there. Rooney had a poor season. Yet they still won the league. Van Persie is world class but who do you think services him? Carrick is the best in the prem for managing the transition from defense to attack, he doesn't do any of that sideways sideways stuff all our midfield do that slows dow the play. He goes from back to front in one incisive ball. His passing range is a world away from Fellaini's who struggles to pick a forward one.

Fellaini might have mugged him off at Goodison when he was playing centreback and it was an aerial duel, but when they were both in midfield at Old Trafford Carrick just ran the game like he does against most teams which is the reason Man U have a shot at the league most years. God they almost won it the year even before Van Persie came yet people seem to think if you took him out the team they'd be mid table or something. The continuous underestimation of United's players by the media and fans alike borders upon embarassment. Gibson is one of our top players yet was let go by United basically for being a poor man's Carrick. Carrick is head and shoulders above any of the centre mids playing at Everton at the moment.
