Was the release clause of 23 million true? And if it was why did not one club make a bid for him? Obviously you guys know alot more about the guy, but from the outside he's seen as this beast and 23 million in todays market seemed like a good price. Are is there more to him that we outsiders cant see that people who scout him see?

I actually thought someone would've at least tried to get him at that price, not sure why nobody did though.

EDIT, I wasn't very helpful there was I ? soz

One reason is 99% of transfers get done right at the end of the window, just like your namesake manager said the other day. Its only really moneybags City & Chelsea that do their business nice and early.

I heard that Steve Bunce , the boxing journalist , claim on Talksport that Arsenal agreed a deal with Everton about Fellaini sometime in July but the deal collapsed !

Because he's not worth it. He's very limited and only suits a certain style of play. Compared to other DM he comes up well short. Take carrick for example - He might not posess his physically and be able to foul people regulary but he protects our back four and creates for us all in one. He's a 1 man midfield with tom cleverley doing sweet **** all.

Can Fellaini pick a pass? Is he comfortable on the ball? Can he beat a player with skill and invention rather than just strength? Can he score a goal from outside the box regulary, can he help dictate posession?

All these questions remain unanswered and it's the reason no one has bothered to activate the release clause.

From watching Felli every game he has played for us, and trying not to be bias. Yes he can definitely pick a pass, is extremely comfortable on the ball (arguably his best asset), he is no aguero, but He can dribble but uses his first touch to beat men more often (first touch from every part of his body too: Velcro nipples) doesn't score any from outside the box.....but plenty in it...

The fact that you don't know does not make these questions unanswered you silly silly man you.

You clearly haven't seen much of him then. And yet you seem to think you know how much he should cost.

Well if he hasnt proven that he can do any of that then he wouldnt get anywhere near our team and never mind him being a target of Manure.

If he's such a flawed player, why on earth are man utd bidding for him at all?
