This idea that we should let either of them, let alone both of them go purely based on the fact that they "deserve a shot at CL footy" is the most small time thing I've ever heard. What planet are the people spouting this stuff on? You sound like Moyes himself.

Yeah we should let our best players go for less than they're worth because you know what? They deserve to play in the CL! I'm sorry but they're contracted footballers on thousands of pounds a week, they're Everton players end of.

Of course they have a price tag, every player does, but unless that is met (IMO £40m minimum) then they should stay, play out of their skins every game and try to help us battle OUR way into the top 4.

We are not and should never be a stepping stone to better things.

Quite right mate. Sorry for them if they they're frustrated at the possibility of not getting to see the shiny bright lights of the CL circus and all that, but their prospective new employers dont value their services highly enough at the moment. Hard lines that.
 
Its seem we need more then McCarthy, we need someone who can break defences, who is quick in getting the ball out to the attackers, Coleman was in aces of space yesterday but we didn't have anyone who is was quick enough with a good passing range to get the ball to him quick enough.
